This comes to no surprise everyone is using social media in one form. This may be via a blog, fan page, pod cast or online group. Any platform where people can interact with you and leave comments is a form of social media.

It's been long awaited but finally the mobile Internet is becoming a reality with ever increasing numbers of people accessing the web via mobile devices. If you are running a PPC campaign you should definitely make use of Mobile Search Advertising.

Mobile web browsing is a different kettle of fish to Internet browsing via a full screen computer. PPC ads targeted at mobile users have to be built with this fact in mind. However, over the next few years I expect this will level out. The research showed that the women that used mobile Internet were more likely than men to access social networks.

According to the BBC the Google vice president of engineering, Vic Gundotra made an interesting comment during the web 2.0 Expo in San Francisco.

His words were "We believe voice search is a new form of search and that it is core to our business".
